Fully synthetic cutting fluids are usually composed of water and various additives, and the main components are various polar substances. However, cutting fluids will bring various non-polar substances during the working process. Due to their different intermolecular interactions, polar molecules tend to remain in the cutting fluid, while non-polar molecules tend to settle at the bottom.

The settling agent PT-WT contains components with large molecular weight and strong molecular polarity, which will break the original intermolecular force balance, so that metal debris in the cutting fluid will quickly precipitate, effectively reducing damage to workpieces and tools, and avoiding the reduction of the cooling performance of the system due to metal powder encapsulation. At the same time, the sedimentation agent can also help separate various oil impurities and particulate matter in the cutting fluid, extending the service life of the cutting fluid.

The growth of microorganisms (bacteria, mold) in metalworking fluids can cause adverse effects such as liquid odor and equipment corrosion. PT-WT has a certain antibacterial ability by destroying cell membranes, enzymes and nucleic acids, and has a certain inhibitory effect on the growth of microorganisms in the cutting fluid, which can effectively reduce the amount of bactericide added.

This product has good compatibility in the fully synthetic cutting fluid system and generally does not cause turbidity or stratification of the system. The recommended addition amount is 0.1-1%, and the specific addition amount can be adjusted according to the formula.
